Sometimes
I see things I shouldn't see
I hear things I shouldn't hear
I get things that are not meant for me

Sometimes
The wind caress me
Then it shocks me with its powerful beat

Sometimes
The flowers in the field greet me
Then they tangle me with those hurtful roots

Sometimes
The rain washes me with love
Then it suffocates me with such strong determination

Sometimes
The birds flying around me with pity
Then they mock me despite seeing tears on my cheeks

Sometimes
The knife hurts me
But now
It offers me a peaceful life
A life that I've been longing to have

Sometimes
There are things that could not be mended
And for me
Those things are not worth my tears
They should just be left behind
While my soul flies away from this world

Sometimes
It just takes a loving heart
To grab me back to my senses
And to make me realize that life is life
I have to be strong and stand up straight
Because black clouds could never be banished away
By a weak heart
