Stardust

when you hold my hand
on the crystallized sand
i feel you close with my heart
like a painter with his art

when i look into your eyes
under the dark starlit sky
i feel the magic unraveling
like beads falling from a string

when you hold me in your arms
and gives me all the warmth
i feel safe and whole
like a small bird in a tree hole

when we sing our love song
with the waves beating so strong
i feel at ease for the night
like everything will turn out right

when you whisper love words to my ear
while seeing the tides getting near
i feel blessed by love
like a broth sprinkled with clove

when your hands touch my cheeks
with a stroke so tender and meek
i feel sparkled with felicity
like a butterfly on a daisy

when i lay my head on your shoulder
with both eyes close together
i feel alive with pleasure
like i know that i'll be loved forever
